At Soul Sanctuary Wellness, we offer a variety of yoga classes suited to all levels. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, our classes provide a welcoming space for mindful movement and relaxation.

Please arrive 10 minutes early, wear comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat if you have one (we also provide mats and props)!

Yoga Therapy

A therapeutic yoga class suitable for beginners and anyone with high blood pressure, diabetes or other health conditions. This class focuses on improving circulation, which bathes internal organs in fresh oxygen and nutrients, leading to overall health and healing.

Ashtanga Series

The word Ashtanga comes from astha (eight) and anga (limbs) and refers to the eight limbs of yoga. Ashtanga is practiced to develop stamina and lose weight. Don’t forget to check your weight after a few sessions of this class.

Vinyasa Flow

The word vinyasa means transformation, in particular the transformation from one posture to another in a sequenced flow. This is a gentle, slow-paced class that allows practitioners to fully settle into each pose to obtain its deepest benefits. Breathing is an important part of this class.

Sun Series

The sun symbolises the right side of the yogic body, as does yang in Chinese medicine. This series generates internal body heat, increasing your basal metabolic rate. This awakens the senses and helps shed weight. Highly recommended for those suffering from common colds, respiratory disorders and those willing to speed up their metabolism.

Moon Series

A slow-paced class that has a sedative effect on the body. Postures and breathing are performed in an orderly fashion to calm and regulate the nervous system. Gentle, expansive movements help to relieve joint stiffness and tension in the body. Highly recommended for those suffering from high blood pressure and insomnia.

Back Therapy

A healthy spine is key to a healthy body. Specific postures are combined to strengthen the back muscles and increase the agility of the spine. Highly recommended for those who work long hours on the computer, have spinal injuries or suffer from back pain.

Yoga Nidra Meditation

Yoga Nidra or “yogic sleep” is a sleep-like state which yogis experience during their mediation. It is the conscious awareness of the deep sleep state. One hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to eight hours of deep sleep.

Private Classes
